The second hand market is a useful place to look for furniture bargains, such as chairs and tables. Your local newspaper and ebay are the best places to look by far. If you want to buy a cheap tub chair ,then buying used is the way to go. Car boot sales are yet another option to consider, and you will often find many different kinds of chairs on sale.
The main consideration is the condition of the chair. You don’t really want something that is wrecked from the start unless you buy it as a hobby to rebuild it yourself. If you have the knowledge you could save a lot of cash and do it yourself. You are better off searching for a decent one that perhaps just needs cleaning up a bit.
