T-Mobile BlackBerry Bold 9780 Prepaid Phone

The Blackberry Bold 9780 for T-Mobile has 512 megabytes of RAM and supports up to a 32 GB microSD card and comes with a 2GB card.

When you purchase this phone, in the package you should find a phone holster, a battery and charger, stereo headset, USB cable, micsroSD card, SIM card, and the start guide and manual. The first thing you may notice that is different about this BlackBerry Bold is that the camera is now 5 megapixels, which is a nice upgrade and a good thing for people who like to throw pictures up on Facebook as they go through their day.

How Does this Phone Look?

Blackberry Bold 9780 has darker chrome coloring than the 9700, its predecessor, and has a slightly different battery door on the back of the phone. These are very minor differences in look, but Blackberry still is confident with its current styling.

One other thing you will notice is that this phone has two convenience keys for greater flexibility. When you start up your phone for the first time you’ll probably want to go to the “Setup” menu where you can set up all the things you want your phone to do for you. You can access T-Mobile web 2 go, T-Mobile Downloads, and My account. T-Mobile has also kept the “Maps” function on the Blackberry Bold 9780, unlike AT&T phones that require you to pay for the AT&T application and thus give them that data revenue.

Will this new Blackberry further strengthen the brand and keep current customers happy as well as entice new potential users into the Blackberry fold? We will see if this occurs and if it also makes T-Mobile an even more popular brand of phone.
