Italy is a hotbed of wine, art, architecture, style, and romance.  But what about Italian cheese?  Think about it.  Where would we be, in terms of the world’s cuisine and cooking be if we didn’t have access to some of  the delicious and luxurious cheeses that come from the various regions of Italy?  The world really does rely heavily on the artisanal cheeses that are created and exported from Italy to other countries. From pasta to pizza, and even desserts (ever had tiramisu?)  A lot of us will be familiar with and have probably tried some of the more commonplace Italian cheeses like Parmigiano-Reggiano.  But there are so many other varieties of Italian cheeses that really do give us an endless number of possibilities on the culinary front.  Why not sample some today?
