Looking for drug detox for a family member?  If you’ve been dealing with a family member with a drug addiction, you know perhaps better than they do about the horrible effects that drugs can have on a person’s life and on their family members.  But you should also know that going to drug detox before you are ready can sometimes be a sure sign of failure and future relapse.  While there isn’t a prescription possible that would make someone want to go through drug rehab, there is one thing you can do to help your loved one “hit bottom” faster and finally agree to go to that drug detox center that you’ve been trying to set up.  Setting up an intervention with other friends and loved ones of the addict is the only thing that has been shown effective in speeding up the process and willingness of a person to get treatment for a substance abuse problem.  Just make sure before you go into the intervention that you have already planned out and set up an appointment at a drug detox center so that you can whisk your loved one off immediately after the intervention.
