For as long as there have been “electric pianos”, there have been Yamaha keyboards. They are almost synonymous with each other. How many countless kids grew up with a watered down Yamaha? The number must be in the millions. But these keyboards are not just toys. In fact, they are also one of the most trusted names in real professional music making. Many great keyboardists have used them throughout the modern “electrical” era of music. And I’m sure that many more will continue to go with Yamaha, because they have built up such a trust with their fans. These come in 61 and 88 key varieties, as well as many others. They also even make them for use as synthesizers. My favorite is the personal workstation.
