The hockey jersey is an important piece in the hockey player’s equipment. It can be just as important as your shoulder pads, your elbow pads, or even the puck on the ice. A player’s hockey jersey tells a lot about the player wearing it. It shows everyone else what team you play for or what team you are wishing you played for and it also shows you just how dedicated to the game of hockey you really are. If you have a tattered old collection of hockey jerseys in your basement that are full of holes and tears, you’re going to look like a bum.
Take care of your hockey jerseys so that they will take care of you out on the ice. The better your jersey looks the more serious players will take you out there and the less likely you will be picked on and made fun of. There’s even a children’s book based on it called the Hockey Sweater.
